How do I prepare for Cockroach Service? When we are going to come and service for a cockroach job, you are going to want to have your place as clean as possible. That means that you'll want to put away all food, cover uncovered food, and put away kids & pet toys. This is because we need to spray our treatment where cockroaches crawl and that normally means cracks behind the stove and fridge but we always like to go above and beyond and treat your whole home to make sure the infestation is stopped in its tracks.

What does a pest control service do?It all depends on the pest or pests you are battling. But in general, we will treat your home for the current pest infestation, and then we will set up measures to make sure that a future infestation never happens.

How do I get rid of clover mites? The fastest way to get rid of clover mites is to call Pestcom Pest Management — our treatments will protect your home all year long. However, if you are looking for a DIY option, then here are a couple of tips. 1) properly fertilize your yard. 2) plant your plants a safe distance from your home. 3) replace all of your screens. 4) Seal the cracks and gaps that lead into your home. 5) Create a physical barrier from plants and trees around your home. This could be a path way or woodchips that cover the ground.

Is pest control safe for my kids?Absolutely. We only use treatments that are family-safe, which includes the furry little guys that run around in the backyard as well. On the rare occasion that we do a treatment that is extremely intense we will talk to you, in detail, about the steps required to keep your family safe while we remove the nasty problem that would be currently putting your family in danger.

How do I prepare for a bed bug service?A bed bug service is one of our more intense treatments. We want to make sure that we stop the bed bugs from coming back so you'll want to clean your home thoroughly so that our technicians can access the entire infected area. Then, you'll want to move all furniture at least 2' away from your walls. You'll also want to make sure that you don't put anything on top of furniture or beds. Lastly, you are going to want to remove all of your sheets from your beds and keep them in a black trashbag.

How do I know if I have bed bugs? The easiest way to determine if you have bed bugs or not is to give us a call and request an inspection. But, if you are looking to check on your own, then you are going to want to remove all of the sheets from your beds. Once this is done, you can take a look at the seams in your mattress. Bed bugs often leave droppings behind and they'll get caught in the seams.

Why do I need a pest service in the winter?A lot of people think that bugs and other pests die during the winter but this isn't true. Pests act like snowbirds that drive down to St. George, Utah, or Pheonix, Arizona in the winter — they hate the cold. But instead of traveling thousands of miles, they travel into your walls. If an infestation is left all winter, it can create a huge problem in spring once the weather starts to warm up.

How do I get rid of Boxelder Bugs?Boxelder bugs seem to invade every home in the fall. This is because they are trying to escape the cold and cling to the last couple of months they have left. So, to keep them out of your home you are going to need to block entraces. That means repairing screen doors and sealing up cracks in your foundation.
